Aventurine (Green) strengthens the heart, and encourages laughter and play. It provides balance and helps to prevent over-excitement / hyperactivity. Makes light of serious situations, but can also help us make serious of light situations. Balance and moderation are the keywords. Aventurine is a heart healer, gently soothing in action. Place on the heart chakra and channel to bring faith back into life, love back into wounds and the strength and courage needed to face the ‘next stage’. Invaluable during periods of depression.

Amethyst is the stone of the Crown Chakra and the higher mind. Throughout history, Amethyst has been used to represent the strength of will, and mind over matter. It allows one to travel in between the realms of dimensions whilst remaining grounded in this one, and balanced within the self. Dream journeying can be made easier and safer with Amethyst to hand. It is also a stone of learning and study, and students of any subject may find it useful to wear or carry while integrating their lessons.

Aquamarine (a form of Beryl) can be opaque (like in the photo) or a clear, sea blue-green colour. It symbolises 'light energy', connection with the sea and the tides of humanity, communication with humanity; it heals hearts, builds bridges, and connects heart with throat - "you can talk to me, for I am all words, and transgress all words".

Amazonite is the stone of courage, steadying the fear in your heart and facing it, and speaking your truth. Do you have something important you've been meaning to tell someone, but don't know how? Scared they won't take it well? Wear or carry Amazonite with you for a few days before 'the talk'. The keyword to this stone is Braveheart. It works specifically on your heart and throat chakras, helping to express what's in your heart. It combines well with Rose Quartz for periods of grief.
